William W. Stubbs III
For more than four decades, it has been my privilege to serve the individuals, families, business owners, and organizations that make the Coastal Bend such a remarkable community.
My career in public accounting began with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., now KPMG, where I had the opportunity to work alongside outstanding professionals whose commitment to technical excellence, integrity, and client service established the foundation for my own professional philosophy. Before entering private practice, I advanced to the position of manager, gaining experience serving a broad range of businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals with complex tax, accounting, and financial matters.
The years I spent at Peat Marwick taught me far more than technical accounting. They taught me that every successful client relationship begins with listening, understanding, and earning trust. Those principles have remained the cornerstone of my practice throughout my career.
Since establishing my firm in Corpus Christi, I have had the privilege of working with many of the Coastal Bend’s business owners, professionals, families, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations. Every engagement has been unique, and every client relationship has contributed to my professional growth. Looking back, I am especially grateful for the confidence so many clients have placed in me and for the opportunity to assist them with some of the most significant financial decisions of their lives.
I have also been fortunate to work alongside exceptional attorneys, bankers, financial advisors, and other respected professionals throughout South Texas. Their knowledge, integrity, and willingness to collaborate have enriched my own experience and reinforced my belief that the best professional advice is often the result of thoughtful teamwork.

Throughout my career, I have believed that public accounting is ultimately a profession of trust. Preparing tax returns and financial statements is an important part of what we do, but our greater responsibility is helping clients make informed decisions with confidence and providing guidance that serves their long-term interests.
As I reflect on my career, I remain grateful to the mentors who invested in me, the colleagues with whom I have had the privilege to work, and the clients who have entrusted me with their confidence over the years. Their influence has shaped not only the professional I have become, but also the values that continue to guide our firm today.
It is those relationships—and the opportunity to serve this community—that have made my career both professionally rewarding and personally meaningful.
